Music at GMCMichael Wynne Organ Recital
Michael Wynne was born in Warrington and has studied Organ with Ian Tracey, David Titterington and Patrick Russill, and as a Repétiteur and Conductor with Fraser Goulding and Vernon Hanley. He has played in master classes with Carlo Curley, David Briggs, Oliver Latry and Naji Hakim and held posts at Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds Cathedrals. Michael currently works for Ampleforth Abbey as Director of Music at St. Mary's Priory, Warrington, and is Assistant Musical Director to Swansea City Opera. He is also accompanist to Manchester Philharmonic Choir and King Edward's Society, Macclesfield, as well as pursuing a busy solo career. Michael has played at many major venues in this country, and an increasing number in Europe. He works regularly with various orchestras, and has recorded for BBC radio, television and GMR.
